Beef Stew

Jacket Potato with butter

The rain had been very persistence for the past weeks and the temperature dropped below the 30's. Just perfect for tucking beneath the cosy comforter. Totally no incentives to cook something new, so the best solution was to bring out the slow cooker. Put all the beef cubes and seasonings in it. Switched to low temp and cooked for two hours.Perfectly timed for a quick nap. For the veggies ( French beans, carrots, and cabbage ) just boiled them like they did in the school's canteen. Beef stokes were used for making the thick gravy. As for the jacket potatoes, just baked them in the microwave oven. This is what you called a lazy man's dish.
